We are looking for an RDA/DA to join our team at a boutique private dental office in Pacific Grove. We are a single doctor, single hygienist and two assistant team. We hope to find someone motivated and ready to learn and excel in the dental field. Willing to train the right motivated individual. The right candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Responsibilities may include the following: Welcome patients into the dental office; Preparing patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort; selecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and material needed; sterilizing instruments according to regulations; Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry; Provide post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records. Skills Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods (will train the right candidate) Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; AND/OR graduating from dental assistant school
